Special Edition- How Pete Lost Over 25lbs in Less Than 2 Months, and Saved $1000’s

The purpose of my newsletters are to provide you with ways to make your life better through three strategies; Focus. Food, & Fitness.
That’s why I’m sharing Pete’s remarkable story. This special edition will share a real life coaching example of how we used all three strategies to change his life.
And it’s not just a weight loss story, though there’s nothing wrong with those. This story has everything; 1. Focus (Determination- He started working with me on Thanksgiving eve!), 2. Food (You’ll see small changes have huge impact, and not just weight) and 3. Fitness, (Exercise is the anchor to great health).
So far Pete has lost almost 30 pounds, has more energy, sleeps better, is more focused at work, has inspired his kids/family/employees, has less pain, and loves how he looks and feels.
Before I show you how we did it, this is what he’d like to share with you…
“PK helped me get my skata (Greek for poop) together in the best way possible. Prior to meeting Peter I had been steadily gaining weight over the years. If you saw what I ate on a regular basis you would be baffled. I was!! I would do everything in my power to eat organic, grass fed meats, good grains, mushroom coffee, matcha tea, smoothies, juices, and so on. Was I perfect, no... I would snack on tortilla chips, gummy bears and chocolate. Those were my vices. It wasn’t even those days contributing to my weight gain. It was the days I would go out to dinner, out with friends/clients, drink a little too much, etc... Over the years it all added up and my seemingly good habits couldn’t combat the few bad days. Pete helped me realize what I was eating was 90% great but I had to make some significant changes. I needed to cut down on the amounts and make better choices. I thought it would be super difficult but you know what, it mostly wasn’t. I met Peter only 2 months ago. We had our first meeting on 11/27/24. The very next day, and the start of my lifestyle change was Thanksgiving. Everyone thought I was nuts! Who starts this during the holidays? How could a holiday be your day 1? For me, it had to be!! I was at my bottom. I hated how I felt and looked. My energy level was low even though I worked out and did some activity to get my HR up every single day. Fast forward to today (1/17/25) and not even two months later I am at my original weight loss goal of 25lbs lighter. I since pushed the goal to a 30lb loss and thinking of more. We will see how I feel and make that call then. This isn’t rocket science although it is a science. I am here to tell you, if you think you can’t... YOU CAN!! Let PK show you the way!”
Like Pete said, he was already eating healthy, spending lots of money and effort doing it, and he was exercising, but he wasn’t losing the weight. Why?
Here’s what we did:
Focused on whole foods; animal protein, vegetables, fruit, fermented foods (yogurt), in the right amounts. I calculated his daily needs and he stuck with them religiously (Focus), the first secret to weight loss.
Then we got rid of food additives in so called “healthy” foods known to cause inflammation and impede weight loss; Seed oils, soy, “natural flavors”, and more. These additives are linked to bloating, pain, foggy brain, all contributing to poor sleep, weight gain, joint pain and frustration.
Then we honed in on supplements, evaluating whether they were essential or could he get those nutrients from whole foods. (I believe in supplements- I have just observed they only work if one has a solid eating, exercise, and stress plan). Being a number’s guy, that’s where he calculated he can save $1000’s over the year.
And what is the cost of good health? “Pete said, “The money I invested working with you easily pays for itself by saving on supplements (mushroom coffee, special creamer, omega 3’s, elderberry, peptides, and eating less. And what is the true cost of quality of life? That’s priceless.”
Finally, we made sure he was building muscle during his workouts, which he did with resistance training and physical Yoga. We also made sure he was focued on his personal and professional success while training, taking advantage or powerful feel good chemicals the body’s releasing.
