How To Eat Healthier At Chipotle, & Other Chains, And Lose Weight

Dear Friend,

Want to save over 1200 calories on your next meal, and still be satisfied?

I’m going to show you how to turn a 1855 calorie meal into a 560 calorie meal, but first…

If I’m speaking to a company, school or organization about health, I love to start with how to eat healthier at Chipotle.

Why?

It’s an instant attention-getter- Many people like Chipotle, and just about everyone is trying to eat healthier and lose weight.

How I do it

I put the Chipotle nutrition menu on a large screen in front and the room and the audience and I design our meal together. Everyone in the room is riveted.

Why Chipotle? Even for discerning diners, Chipotle can be a better choice when trying to eat healthier on the go, or feed your family quickly, while keeping one eye on health.

Below are some of my best secrets, but to see/hear exactly how to do it, watch/listen to my podcast below.

Happy Eating,

Peter

Eating Healthier At Chipotle

My Best Tips

  • Swap the burrito with the burrito bowl. You just saved 320 cals just by skipping the tortilla. You’re welcome ;-)

  • Ask for tons of extra greens. You’ll get full faster and it’s only like 15 extra cals!

  • Choose the guac, sour cream, or cheese, but just one. You’ll save 220 cals here alone. I recommend the guac for flavor and most health benefit.

  • Get the beans! The healthiest people in the world eat beans as a staple. (I try to copy cat what the healthiest people do.)

  • If you eat meat, in this case choose the streak as your protein. Believe it or not it’s less cals than the chicken- 150 compared to 180. I know, that’s a head scratcher. Want to be a total rebel, skip the meat and ask for more veg- 0 cals according the the website :-)

  • Skip the rice. I know this can be a tough one, but all rice is contaminated with arsenic (pesticide runoff), hits the blood stream as pure sugar, and will leave you feeling hungry for more.

  • Go crazy with the salsa as a topping at just 15 cals vs sour cream at 110 cals and guac at 230 cals.

  • Watch/listen for more tips.
