More Success, Energy, Confidence

Dear Friend,

A client got real with me, lamenting, “How can I be more successful if I’m tired all the time, hate how I look and feel, and doubt myself?”

That inspired me to help her, and in turn, help you and me.

This post and my latest podcast focus on the three things that will help my client, and you and me, and those we care about, immediately.

All my best,

Peter

More Success, Energy, Confidence

Success- Not as Successful as you’d like To Be? Try This…

  1. Control Thoughts

    1. If you and I don’t control thoughts, they’ll control us.

      1. Thinking- why am I so tired, why don’t people listen, why are others more successful than me, will get you poor answers

      2. Thinking- I am determined to find the ways to be more successful, help more people, fulfill my life.

  2. Control Anxiety

    1. Control thoughts by controlling anxiety

      1. If we do not control anxiety we cannot think logically, ie I will be more successful, eat healthier, exercise consistently and so on.

      2. Control anxiety in 60 seconds- https://www.peterkofitsas.com/blog/vagusanxietyexercise

Energy- Want More Energy for home and Work?

  1. Go right to the best and only source: Food

    1. The only place humans get energy from is food; ie Fats, Carbohydrates, Proteins (Spiritual energy is beneficial, but different than physical energy.) NOTE- Caffeine is a stimulant, not a nutrient.

      1. Energizing foods- (WWOFFLES) Whole, Wild, Organic, Fresh, Local, Ethnic, Seasonal

        1. Examples: Whole Avocado, Wild Salmon, Organic Berries, Fresh Dandelion Greens, Local Tomatoes, Ethnic Seasonings, Seasonal Squash.

      2. Energy sapping foods- fast food, processed food, seed oils, artificial ingredients, antibiotics, hormones, nitrates, GMO’s, high fructose corn syrup, artificial colors, “natural flavors”

        1. Examples: Chick Fil A, Taco Bell, Lays chips, Oreos, Most Bread, Cookies, Crackers, Cakes, Chips

          1. Caution- Bread should have 3 ingredients: Flour, Water, Salt (If it has more, question if it is still bread).

            1. When you and I eat poor food, including, pseudo healthy food (bread, energy bars/drinks) we have trouble digesting it, disrupting our gut, creating more anxiety, clouding our thinking, making us irritable, less patient, overweight, tired, in pain- you’re getting the point.

Confidence- Want to Walk Into Any Room With Confidence?

  1. Train your body for confidence by building muscle (Lifting weights is a natural antidepressant, stress buster, pain reliever, sleep aid, etc…

    1. Do cardio if you love it, but make sure you build muscle for physical strength and power.

      1. Build muscle 4-5 times per week, 2o minutes each time.

      2. Do it in a circuit and get 2 for 1, cardio and resistance benefits.

      3. Direct your thoughts during exercise for maximum confidence

      4. BONUS- Add sprints (elevated heart rate for short bursts) This will increase Human Growth Hormone, Testosterone, Pain Killers, Neurotransmitters (Feel good drugs), and lots more good stuff.
